Poulsbo Beer Run

POULSBO, WA- March 11, 2018 The 2018 St. Patrick's Day Beer Run will be held March 11th, 2018. Tickets include race entry, 6 beers, and a finisher's prize. After initial entry deadline the price goes up.

 

If you register before initial entry deadline you can have your race bib customized with a name or saying of your choice, at no extra charge!

 

Limited to the first 750 runners registered (150 runners per brewery).

Heronswood Garden - Weed, Walk & Talk

S'KLALLAM, WA - March 14 and March 24, 2018  Since day one, gardening enthusiasts and the surrounding community have been passionate about Heronswood and have looked for ways to help with restoration goals.

 

Weed, Walk, & Talk is a volunteer event that provides a little education and fun for those willing to give a little of their time. This event is scheduled on the second Wednesday and the fourth Saturday of each month under the direction of co-founder, Dan Hinkley. The day includes hands on fun in the Garden and, time and weather permitting, either a presentation related to horticulture or a walk through the Garden with discussions on what is observed. These volunteer work days run from 9am to 3pm and there is no charge.

Come Fly A Kite - Kites Over Kingston Benefit

KINGSTON, WA - March 24, 2018  It’s up, up and away on a March windy day!  

 

Kids and their grownups are invited to bring/make/buy a kite and then set it a-sail on Saturday, March 24th, from 11AM to 2 PM, Mike Wallace Park at the Port of Kingston.  

 

If you have a favorite kite, bring it.  If not, you’ll be able to make your own kite, or buy one.  Expert kite makers and flyers will be on hand to show you how to make it soar. 

 

Each child will receive a complimentary goody bag, and there will be food, music, face painting, pin-wheels, bubbles, more.  It’s all kites, kids, food and fun!

 

This event is sponsored by Kingston’s Windermere Real Estate office and organized by the Washington Kite Fliers Association.  All donations go to benefit the Windermere Foundation, which benefits non-profit organizations and programs that provide shelter, food, children’s programs, emergency assistance, and other services to those in need.
