KINGSTON, WA- Kingston Cove Christmas

Get all the details for Kingston Cove Christmas HERE
From 10 AM to 3 PM, head to the Holiday Gift Fair at the Village Green Community Center, where you can choose from a variety of hand-made giftables.  The Festival of Trees will be on display, too, providing inspiration with uniquely themed Christmas trees created by Kingston businesses.  Then head to downtown to enjoy some luncheon refreshments at any one of Kingston’s several restaurants, and shop in local stores.

From 1 PM to 4 PM, preschool and elementary school-age kids are invited to Kingston Kiwanis’s annual Santa’s Workshop, held at the Kingston Cove Yacht Club.  There, children can make their own fun holiday ornaments and crafts, have their photo taken with Santa, and enjoy games and Christmas treats.

The main event of the day---Kingston Cove Christmas---starts at the Port of Kingston at 3:30 PM.  Sponsored by the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce, it’s a twinkling, light-filled event surrounding the giant Christmas tree.  There will be merry holiday music, and delicious cocoa and cookies to enjoy around the bonfires.  For adults, there will be a “Spirits Bar” for a warm “enhanced” coffee or mulled wine.

Danny Vernon, as Elvis, will perform rock and holiday favorites, and lead the children in a countdown until 5 PM---when Santa arrives on a huge red fire truck!   Santa’s arrival ignites a festival of magnificent lights and light sculptures, all created by the Port of Kingston.  The beautiful Christmas tree comes alight too---and so will Kingston Cove Yacht Club’s holiday-themed boats in the harbor.  Kids can visit with Santa, and take part in the annual Christmas scavenger hunt, while adults can enjoy the famous Port of Kingston Christmas light display, and the find their favorite holiday boats (which will be judged for best décor by the Kingston Beautification Committee).

It’s another merry, brilliant and beautiful Kingston Cove Christmas for all!
